About West DePaul, Chicago

West DePaul is part of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. It's the area bounded by Fullerton Ave (2400 N) on the south, Diversey Pkwy (2800 N) on the north, Racine Ave (1200 W) west to Ashland Ave (1600 W).

It's not unusual - and not totally unacceptable - to set the eastern boundary of West DePaul at Halsted rather than Racine.

The eastern half of the area is also known as Wrightwood Neighbors.

West DePaul's housing stock and density differ significantly from the more affluent and historic Sheffield / DePaul area to the south.
