About Duo Quilt Along
A place to gather, chat and share about the Duo Quilt Along. Rachel is a handquilter who wants to learn FMQ and Rhonda is a machine quilter who would like to learn to handquilt. So we are going to make a quilt that involves both techniques. Because the focus is on the quilting, the actual quilt will be a very simple design - but one that can be adapted in lots of different ways, so you can make it as simple or complex, big or small as you like! Rhonda and Rachel will lead you through the stages of the quilt and provide the gathering place...you will provide the chatting and sharing. ENJOY!
The time frame will loosely go something like this:
September 21st: Kick-off podcast (Rachel interviewed) & Supply list posted
October 3rd: Block How-to Posted
October 17th: Top How-to Posted
October 31st: Layering Tutorial
November 14th: FMQ
November 28th: Hand Quilting
December 12th: Binding
