About Netflix Scratches/Cracks DVDs
Suspiciously damaged Netflix DVDs.
After years of making good money, getting 25 million subscribers, and putting most independently owned and chain video stores out of business, Netflix has decided it doesn't want your money any more and has been damaging DVDs. We've all heard the news about Netflix splitting into 2 services. I believe this is an attempt to try and force consumers into streaming services as the entertainment industry can then have total domination over it's intellectual property-this means no borrowing, trading, or lending films. The effect on films this will have will largely be negative. how many films which would've never seen the light of day gained positive buzz due to movie mavens lending out their favs to friends?
Regardless of what you think about this,Netflix has decided, for whatever reason, that it wants to make the last stretch of it's service miserable for subscribers. I formed this group after receiving 3 unrelated DVDs that all had scratches that were exactly the same on brand new DVDs, after months of wondering how the heck Netflix DVDs end up so scratched anyways....
Please post your best examples of this phenomena, Netflix has proven repeatedly it doesn't give a fig about it's 25 million customers opinions.
