About Longer Videos

The current Flickr limit on creativity is one minute and thirty seconds. There are groups out there campaigning to deprive us even of this, despite the obvious creative opportunities provided by a site which combines image, text, moving image and sound. If you find yourself constrained by those measly ninety seconds, please consider joining and contributing to this group.

Contributions should include either (a) Videos longer than 90 seconds, uploaded to Flickr and stopping abruptly, preferably with a link to the full video on another site, or (b) Still images with a link to a longer video underneath.

Hopefully, the group will itself become an argument for longer videos on Flickr. For this reason, please keep your videos artistic and creative, and use the group as a forum to discuss the artistic merits of fellow members.
