My definition of the Golden Era is 1900 - 1969. That is the my definition for the purpose of the group. (It's not the official period, which only covered about 30 years instead of 70).
Why 1900 - 1969???
I wanted to include the beginnings of Hollywood movies in the early 1900's and see it through the coming of Sound, Color, 3-D, and Widescreen (Cinemascope). I wanted it to include the end of the Studio system and the end of the Hays / Breen Code (Censorship).
The Name of the Star is required in the title of the picture. Submitted images that I feel are not a good shot or other wise inferior (which is rare) will be denied. I started the group and reserve the right to final decision for quality control so that the group maintains focus and theme intended.
I find that pictures looses interest if there is a lot of repition so please limit submissions to 5 images at a time of the same person. This is not a place to dump your 50 pictures of ______! You can put them here but only 5 at a time.
No nudes (adult material for 18+ belongs someplace else.)
