This is a collection of fairly high-resolution images in a widescreen aspect ratio -- around 16:9 or 16:10 -- ideally downloadable; something that would make for a really nice slideshow on a widescreen monitor. Extreme panoramas are discouraged; there's another Widescreen group on Flickr for that.

Use this aspect ratio calculator to work out the aspect ratio; it should be between 1.5:1 and 2:1, ideally between 1.6:1 and 1.78:1. If you'd like to submit a piece that's close, try cropping it using the Edit Photo button at the top of the picture. You'll be allowed to save it as a separate version that you can submit to the group.
