About film for friday
Month's top five in real time - group film for friday

f f friday
Film....... Fridays....the end of the work day, time to relax, maybe enjoy one of your favorite beverages and engage the left side of your brain that has been so deprived during the week. Using film cameras will alter your process and the way you set up a shot. There's no instant feedback. It's composed in the mind. As a result, most people think longer before pulling the trigger. It doesn't matter what kind of film you try....as long as you try. If you lack a film camera, start with a disposable one. Mail your film to a processing plant that does scans and post the results here. Maybe try a lomo camera or a Holga next. You can still process the film the same way. Or develop and scan it yourself. The way you do it is not as important as doing it. It will make you think more. Think differently. At first, if might be more awkward or difficult to use film...but you should improve rapidly. Don't give up.
This group is just as much about the normal digital shooters as it is about the film junkies. Borders and lines are unimportant.
Why just Friday? Film takes a bit longer to come to fruition. This is meant to be a celebration of your best film shot for the week. What better day than Friday?
35mm, 120, pinhole, Polaroid, Instax, color, BW ~are all welcome ~ the real stuff, not fakes.
Never shot film before? Just get out and do it today. If you don't do it this year, you'll be at least one more year older when you finally do
