About Patchwork Squared Modern Solids Quilt Along

Ryan Walsh and Charlie Scott of Patchwork Squared are excited to announce the debut of their design company’s first modern quilt along. Come join them on a 7 week adventure as they teach you how to construct 9 modern quilt blocks using only solid fabrics. This completely FREE quilt along will begin Monday, March 28, 2011. When finished, participants will have assembled a 44” x 44” quilt. Fabrics used in the patterns will be from the Kona Cotton line by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. Fabric kits will be available for purchase through the Fat Quarter Shop soon.

All participants purchasing premade Kona Cotton kits or yardage for the quilt along through the Fat Quarter Shop will be given a special coupon good for 20% off their purchase.

Quilters of all skill levels are welcome to join. Participants who finish blocks and post them to the quilt along’s flickr group page will be eligible for inclusion in giveaways of prizes donated by our sponsors!
