Picture a Museum Day is a 24 hour global event which will take the public behind the scenes in museums and galleries around the world.
On March 17th 2011 we will capture thefascinating collections and the exciting activities that happen in museums andgalleries and share them with the world.
Photograph your museum and share yourpictures of museums through the hashtag #MuseumPics on Twitter and in the Flickrgroup #MuseumPics.
We also encourage the public to participate,by capturing their own experiences andsharing them through social media.
