Artist's statement:

I'm a project manager by profession and I discovered photography exactly a year ago when I bought my first ever camera the Nikon D3000. I believe it is one of the best days of my life because I have discovered an undying love for this art and what started as a mere hobby has now become a part of who I am as a person. The other wonderful thing that happened to me was Flickr. This effective medium of sharing pictures had undoubtedly played the most important role in nurturing me as a photographer. I have looked up to all the "Featured Photographers" at this group Photographer's Choice~Hall of Fame and it feels wonderful to be part of this amazing list of individuals who are not merely photographers but artists in the truest sense.

I love to travel and so far have managed to travel a large part of Asia and some parts of Europe and my intention is to share the lovely moments captured during my travels with everybody. My only hope is that my images inspires other people to travel to these wonderful locations. In all the pictures that I have shot, I have always tried to tell a story and not just follow some rules and techniques and click the camera, because as the saying goes, a picture can speak a thousand words and I hope my pictures do speak out those words to everyone who sees them.

Thank you for making me part of this special group. It gives me motivation to do better in the future and live up to the expectations.
