About The Great Inka Road | Smithsonian National Museum of the America

The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian is working with communities along the Great Inka Road to document the road's history and its place in contemporary economic and cultural life. Please visit this page to see photographs of the museum's 2010 consultations along the road, taken by Megan Son, and to share your images of the lands and peoples of the Andes.

The Inka Road project is supported in part by a Latino Pool award from the Smithsonian Latino Center.

To follow the Inka Road project, offer comments, and pose questions of Megan and researchers Ramiro Matos (Quechua) and Carmen Arellano, please see the blog at the URL below.
