About the Seattle Japanese Garden
Blooming pink and red camellias in the spring, cascading purple wisteria in summer, breathtaking fall leaves, and festive cultural events—what more could a photographer ask for? Visit the Seattle Japanese Garden throughout the year, join our Flickr group and upload your pictures. Whether you’re a local or a longtime visitor, we welcome your views of the Garden.
The Seattle Japanese Garden is a 3.5-acre formal garden designed and constructed under the supervision of world-renowned Japanese garden designer Juki Iida. Since its founding in 1960, the Garden has offered visitors a glimpse into the art, culture and aesthetics of Japan.
For hours, location and events: www.seattle.gov/parks/parkspaces/japanesegarden.htm.
The Garden is currently closed for the winter and will reopen on February 15, 2011.
