"I'm the newest fan! It started with one photograph - and It drew me to a stream full of glorious wonder and amazing captures of life. In my opinion, this kind of photography is the hardest, and yet the most connected to our humanity. The drama of life - happiness, joy and even sadness which NaPix--Hmong Life captures with so much elegance and depth. I am looking forward to seeing more of the amazing, breathtaking and sublime captures of life this great and wonderful photographer has to offer to our world of flickr :) I am honored to be a contact :)"

"NaPix has more than enriched my life. I have been taken to places that I would never have been privileged to experience. I have gotten to experience the warmth and lives of the Vietnamese people and the lives that they lead. My personal feelings are that NaPix should be working for National Geographic or some other publication because through these photos I have gotten an education into the lives of an indigenous people that I would never have gotten otherwise. Thank you NaPix for the experience of a lifetime. I am honored to be counted among your friends here on flickr."

He is one of my favorite in Flickr, even though I haven't seen him in person, but through his picture, he taught me many things.... thanks a lot NaPix for being my mentor"

"Na Pix masters the craft of photography in a manner that imparts knowledge and conveys understanding. His photos of the Hmong open a door to a world which is unknown to most. His photos demonstrate his deep appreciation of the Hmong culture and invite others to become familiar with and partake in it. He is one of my favorite photographers on Flickr."

I have followed Na Pix and his work for a long time, and consider it both a privilege and a pleasure to be able to view his amazing images of Hmong life and culture. He has an amazing eye for what makes a good photo fantastic. His love and respect of the Hmong people shows in each and every image, and we are made richer by the experience of his sharing them with us.

bevmorgan (above) said it well.

Na Pix is masterful to the extent that he sometimes seems even magical. He has created a heart-wrenchingly beautiful graphic-testimony to the ways of the Hmong which will stand as a legacy. His mastery is evident throughout his photostream regardless of his subject.

It is an honour to recognize his talent and passion as well it is to be able to view his extraordinary work.

Na Pix is a very very talented artist, with an ability to cover a wide range of subjects, from nature to people, from spectacular action captures to lovely flowers. Specially in people compositions every work of his is a masterpiece, for he seems to be able to capture the inner soul, the inner expression of the persons in a dramatically beautiful way. On top of that, besides being works of art his works are also a photographic journalism, making and sharing with us a most important record and legacy such as this exhibition of Hmong life and culture here. My full appreciation and congratulation to this initiative of Fictitious Reality.

Ken Lewis - says:

many times his work has inspired me to write...

www.flickr.com/photos/napix/3372883458

In memory of Yo…

eternity may be found
reflected in the light
of yesterdays' sun
where the name of a man
was made by the craft
of his talented hands
and the hard won wisdom
of days spent living this world.

this friend…. and so much more
this soul of a family…..
wearing his humanity
in the faces of his children
whose spirit can be felt
in the smiles reflected
from across the boundaries of time
has made his presence known
and we can hear its voice
in the silence left behind
where he once stood

Memory is all we have left, but powerful emotions reside in the ebb and flow of the tides of time. Carry your precious cargo of moments distilled to the essense of life where you can.
