About 150 Years Old (1862 or earlier)

A group for photographs taken at least 150 years ago! So that means 1862 or earlier.

On 29 June 2009 the photograph below was exactly 150 years old. To celebrate this, and the diverse and fascinating range of old images to be found on Flickr, I created the 150 Years Old group.


Edmund Barron Hartley, b. 6 May 1847, taken aged 12, 29 June 1859. Awarded VC 5 June 1879

Group rules

Photographs in this group must have been taken in 1862 or earlier, and there must be pretty good evidence to support this, if not an absolute date.

Note that this group is not for pictures taken more recently of locations, cameras etc that are over 150 years old.
