A festival that consumes an entire neighborhood - The Houston Heights! When: Aug.7, 2010, 6 – 9 p.m. Shuttles continue through 10 p.m. Where: Houston Heights – 19th Street, 11th Street, White Oak, Heights Blvd, Yale St., Studewood, Houston Ave. What: Art, entertainment, shopping, white linen fashion, dining and eclectic bars, signature drinks Why: Champion art, culture and community, a New Orleans/Heights-style Saturday night in August Who: Art galleries, retail boutiques, restaurants, eclectic bars, professional businesses Amenities: Free shuttles, free parking, complimentary hospitality receptions
What kind of photos are you looking for? WLNH is looking for photos that capture essence of the event - the people, the art, the bands and the parties. Flags waving in the wind, cocktails, white linen, crowds and groups.
Who is going to judge the contest?
White Linen Nights organizers and area business merchants.
What is the deadline for people to submit their photos?
Photos must be submitted to the Flickr group by September 1st.
How many photos can one person submit?
As many as you would like.
What if I have photos from previous White Linen Nights events?
Tag the photo indicating the year it was taken and feel free to submit it.
What are you going to do with my photos?
Nothing without your permission.
With your permission White Linen Night in the Heights would like to publicize images on the internet and submit to media outlets. Your name will accompany each photo.
