About G20 Surveillance
This group documents the surveillance technologies and practices visible at the G20 Summit held in Toronto Canada, June 25-27, 2010.
We encourage anyone to send photos of G20 surveillance to this group. Any form of surveillance paraphernalia or activity associated with the G20 is suitable for inclusion. In posting photos, please be as specific about time and place as you can be, and geo-locate them for the Map feature. See: www.flickr.com/groups/1460975@N23/pool/map?mode=group
Please include 'G20' and any other tags that will be helpful to others for finding and organizing the photos.
One area of focus is to document the video surveillance cameras installed in Toronto in preparation for the G20. The Toronto Star has provided a map of the 77 additional surveillance cameras that the Toronto Police Service (TPS) have installed. See: www.thestar.com/staticcontent/818472 Geo-tagged photos of these cameras can be used to determine whether the cameras are removed after the Summit, as the Police have said they will do.
We encourage any photos posted to this group to be publicly available via a Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons license.
