Firenze, Terrazza con vista - A Roof with a View Photo Contest

Il concorso fotografico “Firenze, Terrazza con vista - A Roof with a View Photo Contest” è promosso all'interno dell’iniziativa “Firenze, Terrazza con vista - A Roof with a View” voluta da Apt Firenze, che mira a valorizzare i luoghi e gli scorci meno noti della città, proponendo un itinerario imperdibile per vedere Firenze dall'alto delle terrazze panoramiche più belle.
Dal 1° luglio al 30 settembre 2010 vieni a scoprire Firenze come non l'hai mai vista: le terrazze di alberghi, ristoranti e altri luoghi pubblici ti aspettano per offrirti un panorama meraviglioso, ognuna con un punto di vista diverso e suggestivo.

COME SI PARTECIPA
Fare una foto da una delle terrazze che partecipano all’iniziativa “Firenze, Terrazza con vista - A Roof with a View” (qui l'elenco completo).
Per partecipare è necessario iscriversi al gruppo (http://www.flickr.com/groups/1451879@N20/) e aggiungere la foto che s’intende far concorrere (a ogni utente è consentito inviare fino a un massimo di tre contributi).

DATE, PREMI E MODALITA’ DI VALUTAZIONE
Durata del concorso: dal 1° luglio al 30 settembre 2010 (periodo in cui devono essere scattate le foto).
Scadenza per l’invio dei contributi: ore 12 del giorno 15 ottobre 2010
Premio: Lo scatto migliore sarà premiato con un soggiorno di due notti a Firenze in uno degli hotel che partecipano all’iniziativa (ecco l'elenco).
Ciascuna foto dovrà riportare nei tag "florence” e “view" ed essere pubblicata in modalità Creative Common. Nella descrizione della foto dovrà essere inserito il luogo in cui è stata scattata. V’invitiamo inoltre a geotaggare le vostre foto, qui è spiegato come fare.
Le foto devono essere scattate durante il periodo del concorso (dal 1 Luglio al 30 Settembre 2010).

Nota: Non saranno accettate foto offensive, pornografiche o lesive della dignità della persona. Le foto pervenute in eccesso o non rispondenti ai temi stabiliti saranno cancellate dagli amministratori.

La selezione delle foto sarà curata dallo staff del concorso, composto da personale di Apt Firenze e Fondazione Sistema Toscana.

L’autore della foto selezionata sarà contattato direttamente attraverso Flickr e sarà invitato a inviare la foto in un formato adatto alla stampa e una piccola presentazione (400 caratteri) su se stesso e l'occasione in cui è stata scattata.
La partecipazione al gruppo e l'invio dei contributi rappresentano e sostituiscono una dichiarazione di cessazione dei diritti per tutte le iniziative direttamente e indirettamente legate alla pubblicazione delle immagini condivise.
In particolare le foto potranno essere usate per i siti www.firenzeturismo.it e www.turismo.intoscana.it

Selezione: entro il giorno 31 ottobre 2010
Premiazione: durante BTO 2010 (18 o 19 novembre 2010)
Fruizione del premio: entro il 15 marzo 2011

“Firenze, Terrazza con vista - A Roof with a View Photo Contest” is a photographic competition promoted by the “Florence, a Roof with a View (Firenze, Terrazza con vista)” initiative and supported by the Florence Tourism Promotion Agency. The aim of the competition is to highlight less frequented special places and hidden niches of the city, taking visitors along an unforgettable itinerary to admire Florence from its most beautiful rooftop terraces.
Come and explore Florence like you have never seen her before from July 1 through September 30, 2010: the rooftop terraces of hotels, restaurants and other public places that offer a stunning view, each one from their own particular and evocative perspective.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Take a photograph from one of the terraces participating in the “Roof with a View” initiative (look here for the list).
In order to participate you must sign up with the group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/1451879@N20/) and send in the photograph you intend to submit to the competition (each contestant may submit up to three photos).

DATES, PRIZE, AND JUDGING
Dates: July 1st to September 30, 2010
Deadline for the photo entries: noon of 15 October, 2010
Prize: The winning photographer will win a two night stay in Florence in one of the hotels participating in the initiative (here is the list).
Your photo must be published under the Creative Commons License, be tagged with “Florence” and “view”, and the description must include the location in which the photograph was taken. Please geotag your photo (to learn how, read here). Feel free to add any other information you think is relevant.
The photo must have been taken during the competition dates (July 1st to September 30, 2010).

Note: Photos deemed offensive, pornographic or lacking in respect to others will not be accepted. Photos not corresponding to the established theme of the competition will be eliminated by the organization. In the case of contestants who submit more than three photos, those exceeding three will be eliminated from the contest (the first three will remain).

The selection of entries will be handled by the competition staff, made up of personnel from the Florence Tourism Promotion Agency and the Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
The winning photographer will be alerted via Flickr message and will be asked to send the photo in a publishable format and to write a 400 letter presentation about him/herself and the photo that won.

Participation in the group and the photos freely sent represent and substitute a declaration of relinquishment of rights to any or all of the initiatives directly or indirectly tied to the publication of said photographs. The photos may be used for publication on the websites www.firenzeturismo.it and www.turismo.intoscana.it.

Selection: by 31 October, 2010
Awards ceremony: during the 2010 BTO (18 or 19 November, 2010)
Validity of the prize: must be used by 15 March, 2011
