About Country Music Legends (pre-1980)

Let's celebrate the imagery of classic country music artists that performed before 1980.

Country music (or country and Western) is a blend of popular musical forms originally found in the Southern United States and the Appalachian Mountains. It has roots in traditional folk music, Celtic music, gospel music and old-time music and evolved rapidly in the 1920s.

Now, there are several grey areas in classifying what Country Music was, is, and should be. Bluegrass, Country, Country & Western, Texas Swing, Folk, etc., etc. all pushed the limits.

What is contemporary can quickly become "classic", but for starters, we'll set the cut off date to pre-1980.

Album Cover Art, Photos, Video and Illustrations are all acceptable here.
