About Edengreen Project Bird

A nature discovery awaits you, focusing on birds and bird watching. Seven groomed trails wind around different habitats from woodlands to marshes and meadows to apple orchards with a beaver pond as an added bonus. Many bird species can be viewed from bug free enclosed bird blinds which are stationed along the trails

Our Moto: Ecotourism and Citizen Science for “The Go-Green Generation”

Our Mission:
Is to offer and share a natural birdwatching experience. We are dedicated to the study and conservation of birds. Birding engages people of all ages and walks of life in learning about birds. Through education, experience, and citizen science we aim to conserve the earth’s biological diversity. We want to protect wildlife and wild places, and to ensure a healthy environment for all life on earth. Edengreen Project Bird is a starting point for many new citizen scientists. On a relaxed and easy paced journey along a trail, the majestic beauty and solitude of the Canadian wilderness is stunning and unique. Easy birding in natural habitats with access to rich low land forests, productive marshes and both boreal and riparian woodlands. Open field and meadows provide the perfect area for short grass and low brush birds. On the marked trails, with observation blinds, many bird species can be observed undisturbed in their natural environment. We offer hours of bird watching in the diverse wilderness where just about any species could turn up-and often does. Birdwatching has become a common and major recreational activity. Birdwatching is fun for everyone.
One of our objectives is to educate and instill a love and respect for birds and nature. Offering guided tours to some patrons. We would provide each new patron with a starter package including a “Birding Life list”, information on bird identification, as well as basic bird watching guidelines and bird feeder kits.

Here at Flickr, I want to meet people, birders and bird lovers, learn from them. Their thoughts and ideas. Share information stories and photos. As a great lover of birds myself I am always looking for new ways to lure birds into my range of field for a photo. Everyday is a great day, it's even better if the picture is in focus!

I will also use Flicker as a source of information for non-birders. Hoping to find out how to make them become birders? Would you Pay $7.00 to walk on marked trails around 6.5 acres of Canadian wilderness looking for 200 or so species of birds for the day? Any feedback would be helpful.

Thank you.
Joanne M. Lockwood
