Group Description

KAHEA: The Hawaiian-Environmental Alliance is a grassroots 501(c)3 working to protect Native Hawaiian traditional and customary rights and Hawaiʻiʻs fragile environment. Our mission is based on the principle that "the land and the people are one," and that the destruction of a sacred place or extinction of a native species portends the ultimate demise of culture. For the future, we envision a truly just and sustainable Hawai'i, in a world where people, culture and native ecosystems survive and thrive.

This group is to celebrate things, places, people, events of aloha ʻāina and Hawaiʻi nei.
