About Pre-Modernist Photography

A place for creative anachronism!

Do you like to experiment with styles and techniques that photographers used before Modernism took over as the dominant style around 1930? This group is open to your original work in earlier styles. This isn't a group for posting "real" old pictures, just your original old looking ones.

This group is different from some others that deal with similar topics in that there isn't a requisite "goth" factor. Pictures with a gothic take are very welcome, but just good pictures in older styles are very welcome too. More modern looking pictures using or evoking old photographic methods - wet plate, Daguerreotype, etc. - are welcome as well.
