- About 'The Renmen Project'

'Renmen' is the Haitian word for 'love'. The Renmen Project aims to spread some love and, at the same time, raise funds for UNICEF's Haiti Earthquake Children's Appeal by producing and selling exclusive 'love' themed artwork. The project was set up by ThunderChunky.co.uk and BenTheIllustrator.com.

- What is this group for?

The project is, currently, an invite-only project, we are working with selected artists to bring together a great stock of artwork which will sell well and raise fund for the charity. However! We are planning on running the project throughout 2010 and in time will be putting together prints and products using artwork given to us via open-submission, submitted to this group.

- What can you do?

Create! Keeping within the theme of 'love' (and you can take that however you wish, it doesn't have to be soppy!) and remembering that this is a charity project to help those children and families in Haiti, just get creative... photography, art, illustration, typography etc etc etc. And submit your work here!

- What will happen to your work?

If we like it, and when we have an opportunity, your work could be used as an art print, postcard, desktop wallpaper, anything which could be sold to raise funds for the charity!
