About Natural Horsemanship

I just recently read a book about Monty Roberts called The Man Who Listens To Horses: www.amazon.com/Man-Who-Listens-Horses/dp/B00157Z66K/ref=s... Reading about the things that Monty's father did to horses amazed me and how different Monty grew up to be from his father did too. I have grown up with, not abusing horses but hitting them as punishment. I have experienced some things that were not so good done to horses. It is a shame that This kind of treatment is so accepted in the horse industry. I also just recently acquired the first two levels of Parelli. I havent started that yet but my sister has and she has been doing amazing with it. I find it amazing that it is so easy to make your horse happy by communicating with them instead of hitting them or hurting them. I wanted to help spread the word about the amazing advantages to Natural Horsemanship. I want to help Monty reach his goal, which is to leave the world a better place for horses and for humans.
