About Dolls, Toys & Games by OHIO ART




Henry Simon Winzeler founded Ohio Art in 1908 in Archbold, Ohio. The earliest toys included mindmills, a climbing monkey, tea sets, and drums. The company is best known as the maker of the classic Etch A Sketch, first manufactured in 1960. Ohio Art's newest products include a line of baby and toddler toys called K's Kids.

Post new and vintage photos of toys, dolls, and games manufactured by OHIO ART and its subsidiaries. Scans of old ads and catalogs are welcome!
