‘Slow Making’ in this context is a relative term and should not be mistaken for painstaking, old fashioned, out of date or hand made.
The process is very similar to preparation for weaving a cloth; drawing fibres, threads and colour together. The surface is not yet constructed, laying the threads down as if for a warp there will be contributions and challenges woven in as the conversations continue.
So this is just a beginning, to see what comes without setting limits on subject matter, images or time. Could be disastrous - we shall see!
