About Criticism: Hit me with it.
I think that many people upload work here solely in the hope that others praise and embiggen* it.
This group is for criticism only. If the photo is boring, uninteresting, badly composed, out of focus, badly exposed, etc. please tell the photographer.
If you want nothing but a hagiography -- i.e. constant insincere praise -- then you're in the wrong group.
Because by ignorance we mistake, and by mistakes we learn.
*it's a perfectly cromulent word.
Note: Insincere negative comments are just as useless as the other variety.
