Wolvercote Common (and uncommon)

A celebration of the common land and other wild and watery places surrounding the ancient village of Wolvercote.

For the record, the other places may include Port Meadow, the canal between Jericho and Duke's Cut including Loop Farm Meadows and Duke's Lock Pond; the Thames path between Binsey and Pixey Mead; Burgess Field and the railway; possibly Cripley Meadow Allotments and the Trap grounds too as all these places were originally ancient watermeadows.
