About 8 questions - an interview with yourself
this is an interview with yourself. 8 questions only, not too easy, not too hard.
in the age of soirees, salons and parlours it used to be a game to pose to each guest a string of questions, and to listen to the answers for everyone's amusement. naturally everyone hungered for the frivolous, the shocking or the amusing, but as a side-effect one would also perhaps be able to glimpse someone's true colors, the cut of their jib, the shape of their heart or brain.
what kind of photographer are you? an occasional, an addict, a paparazzi, a documenter, a point-and-clicker, an artist, an anachronist, a peace-maker or combatant ... you are invited to join this room and to show the shape of your heart or brain.
post a picture (a self-portrait or anything you feel represents you) and answer some or all of the following questions in the picture's description or comment section:
1. if you could go back to any time in your life, what would you photograph?
2. what kind of picture do you find the least interesting?
3. which picture took you the most courage to take (or publish)?
4. what do you admire most in other people’s photography?
5. if you could follow someone around for a day, who would that be?
6. which shot would you never post on Flickr?
7. what is unphotographable?
8. if you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
this early on there are no rules, just surprises. let's just see what happens. but if you are enjoying yourself, comment on others, and do invite your friends and contacts over in numbers. and if you need more info, there's a little how-to in the discussion section.
thanks, and enjoy.
