About In the Limelight

Have your photos been used somewhere else? Say ... in a blog or other online or published media? Is your photography in the limelight?

This group is for people who want to highlight the fact that their photo/s were used someplace other than on Flickr (with the exception of the Flickr blog). Technically speaking, posting a shot that you used on your own blog or a website setup by you, meets the groups requirements, however, the gist of the group is to put "in the limelight" those photos chosen to be used by others.

RULES:
[1] The photo you post must be yours.
[2] Post the photo that was used in another online location.
[3] There must be some indication in the photo title, the photo description, or in the photo's comments on where your photo has been used. A link is preferable, though screenshots in the comment fields will also suffice.

This is not a flame group. If you are upset about your photo being used, this is not the place for you. This group is about public exposure and the positive marketing of your photography.

For information on licensing your photos for use by the general public, one of the places you can visit is Creative Commons.

Finally, please do not post anything that could be considered pornographic or offensive. There are plenty of other groups for that.
