12 Jun 09 - The Summer Solstice of 2009 is quickly approaching. Stonehenge open for the solstice at 7pm on Saturday the 20th of June and close at 8am on Sunday the 21st. This year is likely to be the busiest it's been for long time thanks to the Solstice falling on a weekend. So far the weather is changeable but let's not dwell on that.
I set up this group so people going to a solstice celebration, not only at Stonehenge but anywhere else in the world can share their photos if an awe inspiring day.
