About LEGO User Groups (LUGs)

This group is designed for people who are active in LEGO user groups (LUGs) or are interested in becoming involved.

1. Post pictures of your LUG activities or events (please limit to 4 at a time).
2. Discuss lugging issues.
3. Look to see if there is a LUG in your area.
4. Announce the existence of your LUG.
5. Make contact with others in you area who are interested in starting a LUG.

Remember, many active luggers make fairly long commutes to their nearest meeting. Usually 1 day a month for a full day of lugging goodness. Well worth the drive/ride, so consider commuting a little ways if there aren't any in you immediate area.

I've tried to start off a few discussion threads about the above topics, but feel free to start your own.

New users: please look to see if an appropriate discussion thread already exists before starting a new one. Your questions may already be answered.

This is NOT intended to replace or usurp existing flickr LUG groups, but is designed for broader lugging issues and for people/groups that don't yet have their own groups. Ultimately, I would hope that once a LUG gets established here, they would be able to start their own flickr group or independent LUG forum. More of a launchpad for new LUGs and luggers.
