the maximum work = your maximum work
during a process = your photographic creation
into equilibrium = your equilibrium... e.g. to the film "Equilibrium" by Kurt Wimmer... or... in Game Theory a system is said to be in an equilibrium called a Nash equilibrium if there is no strategy which any of the components can improve their state in the system. :))
