About Anglo-Saxon Art

A celebration of Anglo-Saxon art from the migration period (5th century) to the Norman conquest (1066).

Both historical examples and modern art undertaken in the Anglo-Saxon styles are welcome. Close ups of Anglo-Saxon carvings, jewelery, manuscript decorations and other decorative details are welcome.

Please note the focus of this group is on close up shots of decorative patterns and designs, inappropriate material will be removed.
