This group is also about CART, indycar, and all open-wheel racing in North America past or present except for the SCCA Can Am series of the late 1970s and 1980s. This group is about the rise, downfall, struggle, and the rebuilding of open wheel racing in North America and of indycars competing outside of North America (Brazil, Japan, Europe).

Do I think he was the sole reason that TG started the IRL? Hell no, it was John Cooper, John Capels, Bill France Jr., Dick King and AJ."
