About the Horse:
They gallop and trot, whinny and neigh, capturing our imagination — and our hearts. Indeed, horses are said to have done more to change human history than any other domestic animal, once upon a time carrying explorers to new frontiers and mighty armies to great conquests.
Though their glory days may be in the past, these hoofed creatures continue to enthrall us, as the NATURE program HORSES demonstrates in sparkling detail. From the steppes of Mongolia, where children race at breakneck speeds perched on stallions ten times their size, to the fields of Georgia, where people confined to wheelchairs find new freedom in the saddle, HORSES highlights the many roles played by this multi-talented beast of burden. There are also rare glimpses of the world’s most endangered horse, and an inside look at the art of the horse whisperers, the trainers who through their gentle touch can transform a wild bucking bronco into a stately show horse.
you can view the many different horse breeds in the discussion section if you wish. they are all alphabetized for you and your quick checking. you can check for different names and see if you have ever heard of them and also let me know if you come to find that there are any missing from the list and i will get them added as soon as i can. these aren't scientific names because there isn't a scientific name for each horse breed just for horse in general, so keep that in mind when you look. the horse breeds were found on another site; i could never list all of those from my head at one time. either way, please do check it out, it could still be helpful to you.
Tagging your Photos
all of your photos that you enter into the group must be tagged with "Horse Photography!". this is so that we can search by the group name if for some reason we cannot find your photo by searching vaguely. tagging helps to find each photo that is in our group because if you think about it, not everyone has the same tags to search in the group itself. the reason i tell you to add in the "!" is because people may tag their photos horse photography, but the "!" will be out. this is so our search for yours' is unique and easy. thank you for understanding so go tag :D.
