About Taking Better Photographs
Taking Better Photographs is a group for intermediate to advanced hobby and semi-professional photographers to share wisdom and gain experience. Here aspiring amateur photographers looking to refine their skills and considering turning semi-pro in the future can find help and support. Those wishing to share their knowledge and experience are encouraged to join as well.
Including EXIF data is required, because a good critique relies on knowing the parameters used when the picture was taken. That data also allows others to compare effects and get a feel for what changing certain settings will do to an image.
Please post no more than one photograph per day. Photos posted should be of your best work, or of work you think is close to your best but is just comes up a little short for unknown reasons.
Also, please offer critiques and, most importantly, suggestions for improvement of photos in the pool and in discussion threads. Finally, have fun. If you're a part of this group, you should find enjoyment in taking pictures and in striving to be taking better photographs
