29 Mar 10 - I rode the Georgia Railroad "mixed" freight/passenger train from Decater near Atlanta to Augusta in 1977. I set up this group in order to see more photos of the "mixed" trains, but I have now widened the scope of the group, so that photos of any railroads in the state of Georgia, are welcome.

A group for people who rode the Georgia Railroad mixed freight/passenger trains or who are interested in the history of the rail routes that were operated by the Geogia Railroad.

NAME CHANGE: The original intention to have only photos relating to the former Georgia Railroad "Mixed" freight/passenger trains, has been "lost" in the fact that some members seem to have misunderstood that! PLEASE keep your rail photos to the state of GEORGIA!
