About MFN Photography Group
This group is an avenue for the photographically inclined anglers of the Malaysian Fishing Network.
Photography is an integral part of Catch and Release fishing, which is fast gaining popularity in this community. More often than not, it is the only record of the catch, and this has prompted a more serious approach to record the catch and the moment for posterity.
When circumstances permit, the ubiquitous P n S cameras are giving way to SLRs and DSLRs as sport fishermen expand their photographic equipment to capture their piscatorial adversary which will be swimming away to its freedom shortly. This change has opened up new frontiers for forum members to explore.
Frequently, fishing trips explore Mother Nature at her best in far off locales and this has also led to attempts to capture her beauty for other forum members to enjoy.
This forum is meant to encourage the refinement of the photographic efforts within this group and showcase their best efforts behind the lenses.
