About Anonymous Portraits (PLEASE READ THE RULES)
Some of my favorite pictures to make/look at are portraits where you cannot see the subjects face. Whether it's just pictures of legs, a face obscured by something, or the back of the subject. I got the idea from my anonymous set. Upon searching Flickr for a similar group to join I just didn't find one that fit what I was looking for. So begins, Anonymous Portraits.
I thought the idea of this group would be pretty self-explanatory but after reviewing pictures for the pool that obviously isn't the case. Unlike the Anonymous (portraits) group where the PHOTOGRAPHER is the one required to be anonymous while taking the photo, this group requires the SUBJECT of the image to be anonymous. Also, the word "anonymous" is not open for some loose interpretation. So again here are the rules:
1. Must be a portrait of a person(s) (self or otherwise)
2. Of course it must be anonymous. That's pretty straight forward. If you can see the subjects ENTIRE face, chances are it will be deleted. This means ALL the subjects in the picture.
3. If the subjects face is obscured by something it must be at least half or more. Tiny round sunglasses won't do the trick here. Big Paris Hilton sunglasses, probably. Scarves, boxes, the way the picture is cropped, etc are all acceptable. Make-up is iffy but probably won't get approved. I'll do that on a case by case basis.
