About Nice People to Know
A Warm Welcome

Not strangers...... not family and not necessarily friends but those people we know and have fairly regular contact with for one reason or another, and who are pleasant to be around, for all manner of reasons.
Present us with your Nice People to Know from among those Folks you bump into on a more or less regular basis......... could be the baker, your mechanic, your neighbour or a friend.......or even some new Flickr friends you have actually had a chance to meet up with!
There are groups for strangers...... for acquaintances and for family, but we just wanted something which offered a slightly different angle......... not quite so daunting as photos of strangers, but a place where we could add images of our friends and acquaintances and express our appreciation of their place in our lives. Your photographs needn't be carefully posed portraits...... more spantaneous and candid shots are just fine, so whatever your preference........
