We apologise for the hasty change, but due to no entries being received in the first three days we have decided to change the theme. Instead of just Ginetta cars, the challenge now includes a broader, but specific selection of low volume post-war British car manufacturers...

This challenge is for a photo of ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

* Fairthorpe

* Ginetta
* Gordon-Keeble
* HRG
* Marcos
* Ogle
* Peerless
* Swallow
* Warwick
* Healey (though not the Austin Healey)

Any image of a marque not represented on the above list will be quietly removed. The rules here are a bit more relaxed than in the group pool - it is not necessary for the entire car to be shown in the photo, but the car must be easily recognised as the make/model in the challenge.

David wrote to me: "There are lots of marques in the thread, thankfully you're looking quality of photo rather than rarity of marque". There are many incredible panning shots. Folks, I don't want to start a huge discussion but I have a thing against photos that have the photographer's name or copyright on the photo - especially if large and moreso if across the centre of the photo. If you don't want it copied don't put it on Flickr, or put it clean but only medium size. Especially here so it can be judged clean but not downloaded large. So my initial shortlist: #8: Elva Courier Mk IV - smenzel - I like the treatment. #9: Swallow Doretti - Sunapics - I like the tight crop. #13: Ginetta G50 - Stu.G - My favourite of the panned shots. #25: Healey Silverstone - Count Rushmore - I like the exposure / contrast colour / setting. #33: Peerless GT - Jojo Cence - I like the framing and limited DOF. #34: 1965 Marcos 1800 GT - mikazelikman - drama and atmosphere. Slight wide angle works a treat. #40: Mini Marcos GT - ShaunPG - This made me laugh! #48: Healey Silverstone Roadster - Harvard Avenue - packs a visual punch. #59: Berkeley Sports - sunivroc - I like that it is uncluttered - no people, no show lables. It looks so natural. #64: Marcos G70 GT - Ricardipus - I like the uncluttered simplicity of this. Looks almost like a selective colour post process. # 77: Ginetta G50 - anyett - I like the red car against the virtually colourless background. Another one that looks almost like a selective colour post process. Of these... Third is #40: Mini Marcos GT - ShaunPG Second is #64: Marcos G70 GT - Ricardipus Winner is #34: 1965 Marcos 1800 GT - mikazelikman This wasn't a Marcos thing - honest.
