Some time yesterday we reached 1000 photos in the group pool.
Thank you doesn't quite cover it - I am humbled and so appreciative of all who blogged, linked and folded to help get us to 1000.

I have received suggestions from many of you about how we could use this group to do even more:

to make a slide show of the images and post it on youtube

to make a photo album of images with proceeds going to a rebuilding / relief organization

maybe you have ideas?

The cranes keep coming, and now that the 1000 crane target is behind us, I am trying to focus on what else we might do with these beautiful birds and good wishes.

I would really appreciate your comments and thoughts.

I love the idea of a slideshow on Youtube with appropriate music and ending maybe with a link directing people to an organization helping in Japan - Red Cross or something?

That is pretty good idea. Slides show with nice music sliding through some of cranes which submitted. And hopefully our message will be reaching each of the victim of the disaster happenen not only in Japan but to the rest of the world. Good work everybody! Cheers!
