About 1000 Paper Cranes (reconstructed)
One thousand origami cranes held together by string (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thousand_origami_cranes)
(reconstructed) - as in, Neanderthal Skull (reconstructed) (http://www.boneclones.com/images/bh-030-lg.jpg)
////////////////////
Let's reconstruct a 1000 Paper Cranes. Only we are using the internet, instead of physical string. One Thousand Paper Cranes connected by the internet, spread across the planet. It's said that upon completion of 1000 cranes, the creator of the cranes is granted a wish, or their wish comes true. By spreading out 1000 cranes all over the world, we are spreading out 1000 wishes, or 1000 wishes that came true.
In the group, you will find instructions, both visual and written, on how to fold a paper crane, if you need them.
Once you've folded your crane, go out into a public space, put the crane in a meaningful spot, where someone will see it, maybe even take it.
Take a photo of it, upload it to this group.
Please tell someone you know about this project. The more people involved the better.
