What is the Gift of Flickr?

A gift account is an activation code that anyone can use to enable a pro account.

The person you give the gift to will be sent to a special page to enter their code, and hey presto! the pro account is theirs!

You can buy a gift account for anyone, whether they’re a member or not (although people who don’t have a Flickr account yet will need to make one as part of the activation.)

If your gift recipient currently has a Flickr pro account, buying them another year of pro allows them to enjoy pro status for that much longer!

How does it work?

Once you’ve purchased your gift, you’ll be issued the special gift code. (Here’s the list of all the gifts you’ve purchased.) You can either print out one of our special Gift Certificate cards to scribble on and give to a friend, or you can send the gift code in an email.
